"In producing our wood flooring we enjoy co-creating with architects and designers," explains Edwin Hak, product design & development at Hakwood. "With our new ‘Wall Tiles,’ architects and designers can really let their creativity run free. "The options are endless, for instance a square panel of tiles can be installed as a statement piece on a painted wall, a strip along the wall or even the whole room from floor to ceiling. We have a number of standard designs in our collection, but it is always possible to start from a clean slate that responds to a unique & bespoke design brief to help create Great Vertical Statements."
Subway Tiles with More Pizazz. Some may think subway tiles can be boring. Those white 3 by 6-inch rectangles can be quite commonplace. In 2018, subway tiles will get a bit more interesting as the tiles depart from the traditional size and pattern. Specifically, we are going to see these tiles offered in more colors, larger sizes, and a-typical design patterns (dome, beveled, arched, and sculptural). Pair that with contrasting grout color and the stage has been set for a marvelous reversal from the common all-white look. You can even couple different colors of tile in vertical or horizontal bands or incorporate different patterned tiles to create a delightful wall mosaic for your bathroom. The possibilities are really endless since subway tiles can be mixed and matched in all sorts of fascinating variations.
